Selective licensing in Waltham Forest

Waltham Forest's selective licensing scheme applies borough-wide except the Hatch Lane & Highams Park North and Endlebury wards, and started on 1 May 2025 for five years. Letting an unlicensed property risks a civil penalty of up to £40,000 and rent repayment orders.
