Who we are

Tenurelink is a trading name of Bridtek Limited (“we”, “us”), Apollo House, Hallam Way, Whitehills Business Park, Blackpool, FY4 5FS, company number 07145331, registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question, contact our data protection contact at privacy@tenurelink.co.uk.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, and the role you sign in as (landlord, tenant or trade).
• Property and tenancy records: addresses, postcodes, tenancy dates and tenant names that you enter to track compliance.
• Compliance evidence: documents and photographs you upload (for example gas or electrical certificates).
• Messages: the content of conversations you send through the app.
• Contacts you save: names, phone numbers and email addresses of trades you choose to record.
• Device notification token: if you allow notifications, a token used only to deliver reminders to your device.
• Technical records: sign-in and security events needed to keep your account secure.

We do not use device location. Postcodes are the ones you type. We do not access your device address book. We use no advertising tracking of any kind, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Website measurement

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, provided by our hosting provider, to count page views and to measure how quickly pages load for real visitors. These tell us which pages are used and where the site is slow. They are cookieless: they set nothing on your device, cannot follow you to other websites, and do not build a profile of you.

What is collected is limited to the page visited, the referring page, and coarse technical facts such as browser, device type and country. It is not linked to your Tenurelink account, and we cannot use it to identify you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding whether the service works and is fast enough. Vercel acts as our processor and does not use the data for its own purposes.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To provide the service: tracking compliance, storing evidence, messaging and trade outreach. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• To send reminders: deadline and message notifications by email and, if allowed, push. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the service working, and your consent for push notifications (which you can withdraw in your device settings).
• To keep accounts secure: authentication and abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest and legal obligation.

Tenurelink provides compliance information and record-keeping. It is not legal advice and does not make regulatory decisions for you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of processors purely to run the service (Vercel for hosting, Neon for the database, Resend for email, and Expo and The SMS Works for push notifications and SMS), each bound to process data only on our instructions. We may disclose data where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. Some compliance records may be retained after deletion where a legal obligation or the establishment or defence of legal claims requires it (UK GDPR Article 17(3)); everything else is erased. You can delete your account at any time. See below.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, or to delete your account and its data, use the account-deletion page or contact privacy@tenurelink.co.uk. You may also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Sign-in tokens are stored hashed, and access to your records is restricted to your account.

Cookies

The website uses a single essential session cookie to keep you signed in. It is not used for advertising or tracking. Our website measurement (above) is cookieless and stores nothing on your device, so no consent banner is required.

Children

Tenurelink is for adults managing tenancies and is not directed at children under 18.
